About Maryann Milford, DVM
Dr. Milford is a highly respected veterinarian practicing small animal as well as livestock medicine and surgery in Hunterdon and Warren Counties in New Jersey and Pennsylvania since 2007.
She received her Associates Degree from SUNY Cobleskill in Cobleskill, NY and her Bachelor of Science Degree from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA.
After graduation, she attended Auburn University, College of Veterinary Medicine, in Auburn, AL, where she graduated SummaCum Laude and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2007.
She ran her own practice, Paw Prints Veterinary Hospital, from 2012 to 2025. The recent sale of Paw Prints has enabled her to offer at home euthanasia to her patients.

I am a strong believer that quality of life over quantity is what our pets deserve. One of my primary goals as a veterinarian is to never see an animal suffer.
We are very fortunate in veterinary medicine to have euthanasia as an option to put our terminally ill best friend to rest rather than watch them suffer until their last breath.
About me:
I am a mixed animal veterinarian that grew up in Hunterdon County. My love for animals was very obvious at a young age. I was one of the lucky ones to know exactly what I wanted to do for a living at seven years old. At just sixteen I started working in a local small animal hospital.
After graduating from veterinary school, I moved back home and began to practice small animal as well as livestock medicine and surgery in Hunterdon and Warren counties and Pennsylvania.
In 2012 I opened very own practice, Paw Prints Veterinary Hospital in Ringoes, NJ (now in Flemington).
I treat primarily dogs and cats but often rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens are fairly common patients as well. In 2025 I decided to sell Paw Prints but I continue to work there several days a week. I am also helping to cover at other local veterinary hospitals.
Selling Paw Prints has given me a chance to slow down just a bit and make time for this much needed service for client’s loved ones when the time is right.
Selling Paw Prints has also allowed me to spend more time with my husband Scott and our two sons, Travis (15) and Levi (14). We have 3 dogs (Sadie, Kate and Parker), 4 cats (Tyler, Junior, Sissy and Pete), 3 horses (PJ, Ginger and Sharla). We live on a beef and crop farm. We enjoy spending time at our cabin in upstate New York.
